The NB-2xIn from HW-group enables efficient early warning of water ingress via IoT connectivity by integrating digital dry contacts from water leak sensors, reliably reporting status changes.

This compact device monitors two digital inputs with S0 pulse capability – ideal for connecting door contacts, smoke and gas detectors, and especially water detectors. Using Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT), it communicates centrally with the SensDesk Portal or HWg-Cloud. This makes the NB-2xIn an IoT-based leakage prevention solution, particularly suitable for remote or network-isolated sites.

By connecting water ingress detectors, immediate alarm notifications can be triggered when liquid is detected. Typical scenarios include moisture under raised floors, leaks from cooling systems, or water entering through windows and doors. On sensor status changes, the NB-2xIn sends alerts via the SensDesk portal by e-mail, HWg-Push, and optionally SMS (using an SMS Gateway). Administrators remain promptly informed in emergencies.
